Ran in a small 5k in Denver to benefit a non-profit, Colorado Asian Health Care Inititive, through beautiful City Park. The nice folks had never had a race before and it was definitely for non-serious runners. The start, "OK, go", was more of a suggestion than a command for the 100 or so of us. No age division trophies, etc. The much more serious Bolder Boulder full and half marathon was on the same day. Still, always a lot of fun to run a race in a different city. And I got a nice tee shirt. Two words: thin air. Denver has so many great running and bicycle trails. Always lots of folks out running and biking. And I've never seen so many folks with dogs.
